Vanessa-Faye is an award-winning film and theatre maker. A neurodiverse artist, she has worked in the UK, France, Lebanon and Australia. She works in collaboration with other artists, and sometimes with people who might not consider themselves as artists. As a director, actor and teacher, she often makes work with communities and young people. Her work is founded on a passion for epic stories for epic stages: reimagined classic texts, new devised work, and turning sparks of the imagination into great entertainment.
Vanessa-Faye has made work for: The Barbican (receiving the Samuel Beckett Award for innovative theatre), The National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, Wales Millennium Centre, Objective productions, London Short Film Festival and the BBC.
